For any New York State residents as well as New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut students, the amount you pay for admission is up to you.

Get your suggested admission ticket in person at any admissions desk with a valid ID. No advance reservations. Accepted forms of residency verification include New York State driver’s license, New York State identification card, IDNYC, current bill or statement with a New York State address, student ID, and New York library card

General Admission tickets purchased online can be scanned at any museum entrance at your selected location, date, and time.

All admission tickets include exhibitions and same-day entry to both Met locations.
